With YOUR help, we raised £121 for the Brooke Hospital for Animals! I can’t thank you enough!! Of course, you can still donate on my Just Giving page if your heart strings are tugging you still – especially since the Brooke has recently launched an emergency appeal to help the horses in Egypt. Since the big political crisis there, the people who used their horses as tourist attractions no longer have any customers as no-one is holidaying there anymore, hence they can’t afford to feed their horses -

The Brooke’s emergency campaign is running a special 6-month education programme to train owners in how to look after their equines better. They’ve also already distributed more than 90,000kg of feed, 28,000 veterinary treatments, and are providing saddle pads for the horses with terrible sores from their saddles (info from Horse & Hound). They still need your help though!

That’s all from me today loves! I actually feel a bit grimy (as in I think I have manflu) so I’ve just taken it easy today – no running, just work at the shop and lots of chickpea-eating. Hopefully I’ll wake up a new woman tomorrow!
