It’s Friday, Friday, Fridaaaaay

Whaddup studmuffins?
I’m in three worlds right now – one part is watching Jackass 3, one part is researching jobs (not. fun. not. fun. at. all.), and one part is trying to write a post. Talk about multi-tasking! It’s time like these I’m glad I’m a woman (albeit a not very experienced, not very skilled, newly graduated one….). Uh, anyway…as I am in multiple worlds, it’s gonna be a quickie from me!
It’s so hard to focus though – some guy’s tooth is being pulled out by a car! WHY do I watch this again!? Has anyone else seen the Jackass films? Part of me loves them cos they’re funny, but the biggest part of me loves them because Johnny Knoxville is SO gorgeous!

Le sigh.
ANYWAY! Where was I? Oh yes. Good things happened today!
I was up bright and early, before the sun and the birds and my whole family awoke (slight exaggeration) so I could get in a quick 3miler before taking my mum to get her car in for MOT. I wish my job was Being A Good Daughter – I’d be so good at it! Really, it’s unfair, silly and unnecessary that people have to find REAL jobs….
After I’d picked her up, I tucked into a delizzus breakfast:

OIAJ, it’s been too long. You know what’s real crazycats though? The fact that just a mere few weeks ago, I said how I didn’t like banana oats anymore- yet those were, yep – banana oats (in a jar). Apparently they’re tasty when eaten out of a jar ;-D
Further awesome Friday happenings:
A reading walk (an everyday occurance – I love my reading walks!)
A trip into the BIG town! To see none other thaaaaaan…..MY PHYSIO! It’s been FOUR weeks since my last appointment, and IMHO, that’s four weeks too long – though my legs were fine and all was dandy, so things are definitely on the mend, running-wise! Champers all round? I think so.
Whilst I was in town, I got myself a Hugh Jass iced coffee – drinking one makes me feel like a celeb:

All the cool kids have Starbucks cups y’know :-p
I also wondered round the shops for a while, trying to buy a dress or a skirt (I apparently have neither at home – I was shopping in long dark jeans cos I had nothing else to wear, despite the cerrrrazy heat). I know what i WANT to find, I just can’t seem to! I feel like I don’t know how to wear the style I’m picturing, which is highly frustrating. If anyone is a personal shopper and wants some practice, I’d be willing!
In between my non-buying, I ate my luncheons:

Hummus, olives & roast veg sandwich (courgette, parsnip, kabocha):

Along with a pear and 2 baby oranges. I also ate a snack pack of seeds and an apple whilst I was in town <—- one lacks the will power to say no to a big, juicy Red Delicious apple fresh from the States (sorry, global warming) when it stares one in the face…
SO although my clothes buying was a #fail of epic proportions – in that I didn’t buy a single item – I DID find a cute new dish on sale for £3!

SO sparkly and pretty!!! I’m not sure if it’s actually meant to be a bowl or like, an ashtray or something, but either way, I love it
—-
When I got back, I made my dindins in between dancing on my lonesome round the kitchen to Lady Gaga, feeding Chika old cabbage stalks, and reading trash such as Us and The Sun; I’m very classy. Much like my apple-lentil stew….

Onion, garlic, cinnamon, mixed spice, dijon mustard, fruit sweetener (it tastes like honey!), seasoning, lentils, parsnip + kabocha

A smart person would’ve either boiled off the excess liquid before serving, or have added flour to thicken it. I am apparently NOT a smart person, cos I did neither. I did lick my plate after though (you think I’m joking? I’m not). Definition of class, I am!

Aaaaaaahhhh tres gut! Eaten whilst watching Britain’s Got Talent of coz. I also had a protein shake of sorts – banana, melon and 2 scoops vanilla protein powder:

I love vanilla, more than chocolate I think, which is something I never thought I’d say! I used to be the world’s biggest chocoholic….the chocolate tooth was satisfied later on with one of yesterday’s brownies though, WHICH f.y.i, have gone down a storm! The whole batch is about 3/4 finished already! GOOOOO Dreena!!
Annnnyways, 10.57pm, I’m gonna hit publish, do more job research, and go to bed!
Goodnight cherubs xo

Such a hard question – vanilla or chocolate, vanilla or chocolate!?!? I don’t know! I love vanilla, but I love chocolate. You must see my dilemma here.

Lol I’m the same way with multi-tasking… I’m always trying to do like 5 things at once.
I’ma go with vanilla, because I prefer it in most cases. Chocolate, I only like in bar form

Haha, I think I might have told you this before, but a huge portion of Jackass episodes were filmed in my hometown. Bam Margera was actually a friend of my brother’s and a patient of my dad’s once upon a time, and his childhood home is about a mile away from me!!

Vanilla any day! Other than bar form, I rarely opt for chocolate flavoured things- too rich for me!
Saturday, June 4th 2011 at 2:06 pm |
Chocolate for me, although if it was ice cream I would choose extra special vanilla stuff over chocolate.
Those starbucks smoothie things always look so refreshing but I have never tried one- I am not a cool kid haha!

That shiny dish is so beautiful, and what a deal! I always say chocolate, but a vanilla shake is so good once in a while.

When it comes to something like a bar of dark chocolate or a protein bar, then I’m a chocolate girl. But when it comes to smoothies or ice cream, I’m usually vanilla! Even when I make chocolate smoothies or oatmeal, I usually add vanilla extract!
By the way, you use melons in smoothies so often, and they come out looking really good! I’ve never thought to add melon to a smoothie before. They’re so watery, and I like my smoothies pretty creamy. Do you freeze melon chunks first, or just throw the melon right in?

My problem is to find jeans- I never find any I like and usually end uo wearing tights if i cant wear my dresses
Good luck
The sandwich with roasted veggies looks good! I love roasted veggies so much, They are perfectly sweet and tender and crispy <3

Hello, I just found your blog and it’s great to find more UK blogs. Huge congratulations on graduating! I just started my degree and am already dreaming of that day. Protein powder I would choose vanilla, but for practically anything else I’d probably choose chocolate!

I will unashamedly admit to plate-licking! As long as no one’s around to see, I go for it… clASSy!
& chocolate for sure

I’m much more of a vanilla girl…unless we’re talking peanut butter…then chocolate MUST be involved!
That apple-lentil dish looks amazing! It’s been too long since I’ve had some parsnips! I need to get on that!
